Plot Summary
While You Were Sleeping the drama stars Lee Jong-suk as Jung Jae-chan, a prosecutor who becomes involved in the lives of Nam Hong-joo, played by Bae Suzy, and her mother. Nam Hong-joo has the ability to see future events in her dreams, but she is unable to prevent them from happening. Jung Jae-chan, who initially doesn’t believe in Hong-joo’s abilities, eventually comes to realize that her dreams are prophetic and that he can use her insights to prevent crimes from occurring.
Hong-joo and Jae-chan work together to solve a series of cases, including the death of Hong-joo’s father, who was falsely accused of a crime. Along the way, they also become romantically involved.
