Plot Summary
Doctor Stranger the drama about the story of Park Hoon (Lee Jong-suk), a kidnapped boy who later becomes a highly-skilled Doctor. Park Hoon’s father Park Cheol (Kim Sang-joong) is a brilliant heart surgeon who was called to North Korea. He took Park Hoon with him because Hoon was very young and his mother refused to look after him.But they were tricked and the father and son were not allowed to return to South Korea.
There Park Hoon trained and studied to become a doctor under the guidance of his father. Park Hoon then grew up to be a highly-skilled doctor. Entering his teenage years, he falls in love with a woman named Song Jae-hee (Jin Se-yeon) who is also his school friend.
When Park Hoon’s father dies, he decides to go back to South Korea. He tries to escape to South Korea with his girlfriend Jae-hee. But plans go awry and he loses contact with Jae-hee, So he had to leave North Korea alone. Since then, he has been searching for Jae-hee…
